When our friends at Vault City told us they were coming to China, we were like kids in a candy store. What could happen when one of the West’s best sour breweries teams up with one of the East’s best sour breweries? Playing with the idea of Sweet Shop Sours and classic flavours, we came up with the sweet crunchy sour childhood treat, Bing Tanghulu, candied Hawthorn, bought from a street vendor, maybe in Hong Kong or Hangzhou or Beijing or Chengdu and that immediate wave of nostalgia.
